Creamy gnocchi bake

Ingredients for 2 people

100 g spinach, defrosted and pressed dry
200 ml cream
100 ml vegetable stock
1 tsp caraway seeds
1 Tbs clarified butter
1 onion
150 g HANDL TYROL Fineest Ham Cubes
500 g gnocchi from the chiller section
50 g cheese, grated
Salt & pepper

Method

Level of difficulty:
Beginner
  1. Defrost the spinach and press out as much of the liquid as possible Now heat the spinach with the cream in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stir well and add the caraway, a little salt and pepper and the vegetable stock. Simmer for 4 to 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C with top and bottom heat.
  3. Finely chop the onion and fry on a high heat with the ham and gnocchi. Add the creamed spinach, stir well and pour into an ovenproof dish.
  4. Sprinkle with a little grated cheese of your choice and bake for 15 minutes at 180°C with top and bottom heat.
