Stuffed Mushrooms with Tyrolean Ham Cubes

Ingredients

400 g white mushrooms

Filling
1 shallot
100 g feta cheese
150 g HANDL TYROL Tiroler Speck PGI Ham Cubes
Salt
Pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat).
  2. Wash the mushrooms. Pat them dry and remove the stems, set the stems aside for later.
  3. Place the mushrooms with the opening facing up in a baking dish.
  4. For the filling, peel and finely chop the shallot. Dice the feta into small cubes. Lightly fry the Ham Cubes in a pan over medium heat, then blot off the excess fat. Finely chop the mushroom stems and mix them with the other ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste with a bit of salt and pepper.
  5. Fill the mushrooms with the mixture and bake for about 15 minutes at the same temperature.
