Tarte Flambée Golatsche with Tyrolean Ham

Ingredients

1 package fresh puff pastry
200 g crème fraîche
½ garlic clove, pressed
150 g HANDL TYROL Tiroler Speck PGI Ham Cubes
Fresh chives
Thyme or oregano
1 egg

Method

Level of difficulty:
Beginner
  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (top and bottom heat).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and cut it into 8 equal-sized rectangles.
  3. Spread crème fraîche evenly over the rectangles.
  4. Evenly distribute the Ham Cubes, then fold the edges toward the centre to form the Golatsche. Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pastry is crispy and the topping is slightly golden.
  6. When ready, remove the Tarte Flambée Golatschen from the oven and serve with freshly chopped herbs.
