Tyrolean Speck and Avocado Burger

Serves 4

4 slices of HANDL TYROL Tiroler Speck PGI Ham
4 burger buns
400 g minced beef
2 tomatoes
1 onion
2 tbsp sour cream
1 ripe avocado
½ organic lemon
Salt
Freshly ground pepper

Preparation

  1. First of all, place the mince in a dish, season with salt and pepper and mix well. Split the mince into four equal portions and use your hands to shape into burger patties.
  2. Halve the ripe avocado, remove stone and cut the flesh into large cubes. Then place the avocado cubes in a dish and mix with sour cream, pepper, lemon rind and lemon juice.
  3. Fry each patty on each side for approx. 3-4 min., remove from the pan and keep warm. Fry the Tiroler Speck PGI Ham in the same pan for 1 min. on each side, until crispy.
  4. Fill the bun with the fillet, tomatoes, onions, place the avocado cream on top and garnish with crispy ham. Enjoy straight away.
